Utility Locator
Before any digging begins, accurate utility detection is essential to protect both people and infrastructure. At Caolzol, we provide professional utility locating services to help you identify, mark, and map underground utilities on commerical or private property—reducing risk, preventing costly utility strikes, and keeping your project on track.

Our trained technicians use advanced technology and proven field methods to ensure no critical utility is missed. Whether you're planning construction, renovations, or environmental work, Caolzol delivers the clarity and confidence you need before you break ground.
2D Mapping
Our 2D GPR mapping provides a fast, non-invasive way to visualize what lies beneath the surface. Using radio wave pulses, we generate a real-time, cross-sectional image of subsurface features—such as utilities, rebar, voids, and natural materials—without the need for digging or drilling.

The system works by transmitting radio waves into the ground. When those waves encounter buried objects or changes in material, they reflect back to the surface and are captured by the scanner. This data is then translated into a clear, 2D profile of the subsurface, giving you the insight needed to plan safely and accurately.
Concrete Scanning
Our concrete scanning services use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to safely and accurately scan concrete slabs before cutting, coring, or drilling begins. GPR works by sending radio waves into the surface and capturing reflections from objects embedded within—such as rebar, post-tension cables, conduit, and voids.

These reflections appear as hyperbolas on the GPR readout, and our trained professionals interpret this data to determine what’s below and how deep it lies. The result? Precise, non-invasive insights that help you avoid costly delays, structural damage, or safety risks on your job site.
3D Mapping
3D GPR mapping offers a powerful, non-destructive way to visualize underground infrastructure and geological features in high resolution. By emitting electromagnetic pulses into the ground and analyzing their reflections, we’re able to generate detailed three-dimensional models of subsurface objects—such as utilities, rebar, voids, and soil layers—without the need for excavation.
